MGUN

For its tenth release, Angis Music welcomes Detroit’s MGUN with four raw cuts carrying the restless spirit of the Motor City. Moving between techno, house and electro, Manuel Gonzales keeps things loose, rugged and unpredictable. Heavy drums, hazy textures and twisted grooves give each track its own shape, with a strong physical pull running through the whole EP. Nothing feels overly polished or overworked. The tracks shift naturally, following their own logic while keeping the tension high from start to finish. Four tracks for late nights and loud systems, true to MGUN’sinstinctive and uncompromising approach. Artwork by Indonesian artist Reda Adi Patrama. Mastered by Tim Xavier at Man Made Mastering for maximum club damage.
