Dj Face

Gavin Mills, aka half of Defected duo Copyright, returns to his early rave roots as DJ Face with the official release of his long-lost debut EP. Recorded in the early ’90s, after cutting his teeth DJing at seminal UK raves and clubs, the EP was originally intended for Metamorphosis Records but shelved after only a handful of white labels were pressed, eventually becoming a sought-after holy grail.
More than 30 years later, SAFT finally gives it a full release, newly remastered: four tracks of dusty breakbeats, euphoric pianos, soulful vocals and sun-kissed house grooves, capturing the spirit and energy of the original UK rave era while still sounding remarkably fresh today.
Raw, soulful and unmistakably of its time — yet built to last.
